Katie's academic background is impressive, having earned her PhD from Carleton University in Ottawa. After finishing her PhD studies, she decided to follow her passion and started a new chapter in her life to help others fulfill their Real Estate dreams. Katie has always had a keen passion for Real Estate and and when the opportunity became available, she seized it! She has joined the RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Group which is a leading real estate brokerage in Canada.

Since 2016, Katie has dedicated a part of life as a volunteer mentor/tutor at the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa helping protect infants, children and youth who are experiencing abuse, neglect, or abandonment.
